Frequently Asked Questions
1. What conditions do chiropractors and rehab specialists treat?
We help with back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, joint pain, sports injuries, muscle tightness, and movement restrictions. Our rehab-focused care also supports recovery after surgery or injury to restore strength, mobility, and performance.
2. What is movement-based chiropractic care, and how is it different from traditional care?
Traditional chiropractic care often focuses mainly on spinal adjustments for pain relief. Movement-based care looks at how your body moves as a whole. Along with adjustments, we use soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, and functional rehab to restore strength, flexibility, and mobility. This helps not only with short-term pain relief but also long-term recovery, injury prevention, and performance.
3. How is your approach different from other chiropractic clinics?
We emphasize active rehab and soft tissue work, not just adjustments. Our goal is long-term recovery through strength, mobility, and performance training—helping you return to the activities you love.
4. Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor or rehab specialist?
In most cases, no referral is needed. Many patients book directly with us for back pain, sports injuries, or preventative care. If your insurance requires a referral, we’ll help guide you through the process.
5. What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit includes a detailed evaluation, movement assessment, and discussion of your goals. We’ll then create a personalized treatment plan that may include chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, and rehab strategies.
6. How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition, activity level, and goals. Some patients feel better in just a few visits, while others benefit from ongoing rehab to prevent future injuries and improve performance.
7. Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes. Chiropractic and rehab care are safe, evidence-based, and tailored to your condition and comfort level.
8. Can chiropractic and rehab help athletes?
Absolutely. We specialize in sports chiropractic and rehab, focusing on injury recovery, performance optimization, and reducing the risk of re-injury. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or competitive athlete, our care helps keep you moving at your best.
9. Do you accept insurance for chiropractic or rehab services?
Because of the tailored approached taken here, Dr. Maggie is not in network with any insurance companies. Insurance companies don't allow for adequate time or treatment techniques to accomplish these goals, which allows her to use whatever modality, rehab approach or technique available or warranted to get you moving and feeling the way you deserve. That being said, most HSA and FSA plans can be utilized for payment. Additionally, most people find their insurance plan still reimburses them for their payment up to a certain percentage.
