WHAT IS IT?
Sports injuries are any pain or limitation that gets in the way of training, competing, or doing the thing you love. That covers a lot of ground - sprains, strains, tendinopathies, overuse injuries, and everything in between. The common thread is that most sports injuries don't happen from one dramatic moment. They build up over time from repetitive load, muscle imbalances, and movement patterns that eventually catch up with you.
common symptoms and signs
pain that shows up during or after activity
swelling or tenderness around a joint or muscle
stiffness or limited range of motion
weakness or instability that wasn't there before
a nagging injury that keeps coming back every time you ramp up training
compensation patterns — something else starting to hurt because you're protecting the original injury
Who is a good fit?
you're someone who wants to understand what's going on in your body and actually do something about it. We work best with people who are ready to be an active part of their recovery, not just lie on a table and hope for the best.

why does this happen?
If you're an athlete, this page is for you. Runners, lifters, hockey players, group fitness athletes, dancers, gymnasts, pickleball players, figure skaters - we work with all of it. Sports injuries are inevitable to some degree if you're pushing your body, but most of them are manageable and many are preventable with the right training and recovery approach. The people we see most are those who have been pushing through something for too long and finally decided to do something about it.
how we treat it
Every sports injury gets a movement exam first. We want to understand what's actually driving the problem before we do anything else. From there we use a combination of cupping, IASTM, dry needling, and chiropractic adjustments to get the tissue and joint moving better. Then we build back with progressive loading and sport specific strength programming tailored to what you actually do, so you return to your sport stronger than before, not just pain free.
